My focus on jobs and development starts with a commitment to building Detroit with Detroiters. I believe in prioritizing our local workforce and making sure that Detroit residents are at the center of our city’s growth. I support making union jobs mandatory. I support the protection of workers’ rights and a quality livable wages. Expanding access to job training is essential so that all Detroiters have the opportunity to gain the skills they need for success. Additionally, there must be full accountability for how public dollars are spent to ensure transparency and trust in our economic development efforts.
