Safety for our neighborhoods is essential. We must improve 911 and emergency response times so that residents feel secure knowing help will arrive when it’s needed most. Better street lighting and aggressive blight removal are also critical to creating cleaner, safer, and more walkable communities. In addition, I support expanding neighborhood-based policing efforts that foster trust between officers and the people they serve? because every resident deserves to feel protected and respected in their own neighborhood.
