I believe quality affordable housing must meet high standards and be energy efficient so residents can live with dignity while saving on utility costs. Housing must be truly affordable based on what Detroiters actually earn. We need long-term affordability, not short-term deals that expire and leave families vulnerable. Most importantly, we must prevent displacement and protect our neighborhoods so Detroiters can stay and thrive in the communities they’ve helped build.
